EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:

Quality pistol with 200 rounds factory ammunition. 3 magazines for semiautomatic pistols and speedloaders for revolvers. Holsters are not required, but if you use one it must be worn on your belt – no crossdraws. A minimum of 1 box (25 rounds) of 12 gauge or 20 gauge BIRDSHOT or FIELD LOADS. You may bring your own shotgun or you may use ours for no charge. You may have the opportunity to shoot this event more than once if you bring additional birdshot. No buckshot or slugs. Hearing protection (we will provide foam ear plugs if you need them). Eye protection – sunglasses or prescription glasses are acceptable. A small case or duffel for carrying your equipment from station to station.

THE TRAINING EVENTS:

EVENT 1 will be a static shooting line emphasizing marksmanship skills and familiarity with your pistol. This is not a scenario and everyone will begin at this event.

EVENTS 2, 3, and 4 are scenarios that simulate real-world self defense applications in your home or in a public place.

EVENT 5 will be a scenario that simulates personal defense with a shotgun. You may bring your own shotgun or use ours. We will have 12 gauge and 20 gauge shotguns.
